About Art Market Publications

We are a company dedicated to using the continued power of print-in-hand to help emerging and mid-career artists gain exposure for their work.

What is the role of print in the digital age? In a world of ubiquitous digital information, print still has an important role to play, especially regarding visual arts. Digital screens, particularly portable ones, cannot do justice to the depth of color and the image quality that are necessary to portray artwork. A glossy print piece is still the standard, the best thing next to seeing work in person.

The chance to make an impression. The never-ending digital information stream provides so much data, it’s difficult for a new artist to make a splash, hidden beneath a thousand other websites. A print-in-hand piece can make that repeated impression on someone even casually flipping through it, and that impression can lead to a follow-up, that impression can lead to an inquiry, that impression can lead to a sale.

How do you present immediate and relevant information? Our publications are produced in a timely manner with a focus on results. An issue of The Artist Showcase, for instance, may have a focus on Winter in Florida. The articles and descriptions will be pertinent to that time and place, the advertisers relevant. The artwork, galleries and shows described will be in the immediate grasp of the reader because that magazine will be distributed at key locations such as the major art shows.
